That is kinda funny, I didnt know you had never seen my truck. I have posted a few pictures of it on V8S10.org. Guess I just sort of figured you had seen it there.

If you really want to see them I will round some up. My interior is bone stock with a bench seat. The only thing close to "custom" is a gauge cluster that I made. I replaced the drivers side dash speaker with the cluster. I think it looks pretty cool. I just wanted something different from the pillar post gauges.

Still waiting for the new pics, it'd be nice to see a new post around here. This place has become a desert,LOL. We need to find a way to get more people over to this site so the traffic will pick up more.

To be honest its really not that fast, at least not from a standing start anyway. I still have an open rearend so it pretty much just goes up in smoke! I have a Torsen style posi unit that I haven't installed yet. You know how it is, all in good time I guess.

Yep, I've have to pay someone to install it for me since I don't have all the stuff to set back lash, ect. One of the local shops can do the job for $150 if I guy everything to install it. Wish I had the tools and knowledge to do rear end work, it'd be nice to not have to spend money to get a new set of gears or a Posi unit installed.

It doesn't seem like it'd be too hard if you have the tools. I'm sure you can find a good write up about setting pinion depth and back lash on the web somewhere. Once you do your's and get it right then you can come down and help me do mine when I get a posi unit to install,LOL. cheers

Hey I looked it up and the 1999-2002 model Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro, had a Torsen differential.
They will fit the 28 spline S10 rearends. That is what I have to go into mine.

I'll have to give the local J/Y a call and see what they're selling for or maybe someone will have one at the meet that they can float me until I can pay em' at a later date. alien

They are totally different than the "Gov Bomb" and are very strong. Just do a search on Torsen type posi units. I also like the fact that they dont have clutches to wear out or springs to break like other posi units do.
